Finally got tired of Lifeblog dying on any lengthy transfer and thought Nokia Photos would fix it all. Downloaded it from the Nokia site (23mar08), installed it, told it to import, and then it took forever. By the morning, the app had crashed. Restarting Nokia photo gave me the worst error message I have seen in a modern app: 'exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation'. This is inexcusable. The team that made Nokia Photos is the same team that made Lifeblog. Also, this is a database creation exercise, not a physical import - 15+ hours? I can do it faster manually. My question is how was this error not caught? Did they not test for a Lifeblog import? And your error was from January. Where is the patch? It was easy to find many mentions of this error. Is it prevalent? Am I, like always, a very rare case? If so, then ignore my rant. If not, then, what a shame. And to top it off, I am not able to access my (4 year old, 10GB+) Lifeblog data.
